Exhibit Design
Indoors or outdoors, we've created interactive exhibits to engage, educate, and entertain visitors of all ages! Whether it's interactive installations in art museums, educational carnival style games, giant seed bomb hurling sling shots, escape rooms, augmented reality scavenger hunts, geocaches, natural playgrounds, to mention just a few, we can design, create, and install self guided or staff led exhibits/programs
Natural Playground
Woodcock Nature Center needed a natural play area for their preK program and visitor engagement initiative. Created on a very limited budget, we were able to create fun, safe, and mission relevant installations among and using the trees and natural area outside the Center. Additionally, we created an installation method that allowed us to use the existing trees as part of the installation without hurting them.
BUBBLEFLIES!!!
Created for the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary's annual Butterfly Party event with over 5,000 visitors, we created butterfly shaped Bubbleflies using a mix of helium and compressed air. Participants could "slice" off their own butterfly, make a wish, and watch it fly away for miles into the sky!
The SEEDSHOT!
Built on a 16 foot trailer, this mobile exhibit allows participants to crank back the catapault themselves and safely pull the launching pin to fire seed bombs or pumpkins several hundred feet to help grow pollinator plants and mast for wildlife while having a BLAST of a time!
Augmented Reality Scavenger Hunt
Using their own smart phones, participants would find and identify hidden butterfly specimens using the augmented reality app "Seek" by iNaturalist. The names of the butterflies were entered into a word puzzle to unlock a specially designed filter for the event, allowing treasure hunters to post their success!
