School Programs
All programming has been created in conjunction with school teachers and science leads to achieve curricular goals in conjunction with NGSS Science Standards. Programs are experiential and inquiry based, with a focus on locally observable natural phenomena. Technology is implemented to introduce students to modern “tools of the trade” and citizen science initiatives through engaging, hands-on challenges and activities. All programs can be offered via traditional (in-class/schoolyard), hybrid (online introduction with outdoor in person interaction), and fully virtual formats. All offerings include follow up support for teachers, students, and families via take-home activities, suggested readings, online references and citizen science initiatives, and most importantly, year round access to 30 years of professional natural science knowledge and consultation.
